Jesi Thomas, a 1st grader in Mrs. McCreeless' class at Haleyville Elementary has made a very selfless decision to donate her "locks" to the Locks Of Love Foundation. She had 12" to give to a child in need. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to medical conditions. The wigs made help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers. Jesi said it made her feel very proud of herself to be able to give such a wonderful gift and she would recommend anyone young and old alike to give when and if possible.
